This is an absolutely lovely and exceptionally rare Graham Model 97 factory supercharged shark nose. This is a must have for collectors of cars from this era as the sharknose Graham were some of the most interesting and good looking cars of the era.
This car has always been a rust and accident free car that was given a frame off restoration and then immediately purchased by its long term owner who would keep the car until late 2019. I got the car as part of a group of cars and after doing some sorting and an engine bay cleaning, I am ready to sell.
The car is solid throughout including the underside with zero rust or rust repair anywhere including the frame. All of the chrome and trim is gorgeous, the paint is outstanding and the interior is equally as well presented. This Graham needs nothing and can be shown at any qualifying event with confidence.
I drove this car as recently as last Saturday and it starts right up, the clutch is excellent and the brakes are firm and reliable. It cruises at highway speeds well and stopping is assisted by a professionally installed power brake unit assisting the drum brakes.
All of the glass is nice and everything works as it should. For the era, it is an incredibly comfortable and modern feeling car to drive.
Whomever ends up with this car will be thrilled. Even in 1984 dollars the cost of the restoration had to have been far greater than value even today.
