1939 Chevy Master Deluxe Frame off Custom build
This car is so much fun to drive. It has an all-steel body (except for the rear fenders).
The interior uses the factory seats which have been reupholstered in white and blue leather. The dash uses billet inserts with Classic Instrument gauges with modern read out. Power items include all four windows, power locks, power door actuators, Power brakes and power steering. Additionally it has tilt wheel steering column and Grant Mahogany steering wheel along with a Blaupunkt AM/FM stereo with 6 disc changer which is mounted in the trunk. The A/C, heat, and defrost controls are mounted under the stock radio.
Powering this beauty is a crate 350 700R4 ZZ4 motor, full length headers, Summit vacuum can, performance intake manifold and Edlebrock 650 carburetor. A thermostatically controlled electric fan with an oversized custom radiator keeps it cool even on the hottest summer days. Handling the shifting is a Turbo 400 3-speed automatic.
The chassis is a stock ’39 Chevy frame. A 9” Ford rear differential with 3.73:1 gears mounted on leaf springs puts the power to the road using 15” Dayton Specialty wheels and 255/60R15 BF Goodrich radials.
Cosmetically this is a show car. There are no stone chips that we are aware of in the paint, all of the chrome & glass are in excellent condition. Electrically, all four power windows function normally as do the gauges, turn signals, exterior lights, courtesy lights, wipers, power antenna, and A/C.
