1939 Ford Deluxe Coupe
I am selling my 1939 Ford Deluxe 5 window coupe. I purchased this car from the estate of a long time well known collector out of California. His collection was large and very high end. He bought this car from Volo Auto Museum and then did a complete nut and bolt restoration.
I have pictures and all the receipts from the time he purchased to completion. This was a very nice car when he started with the original motor and transmission. The purchase price was $38,000. He then took it to a well known hot rod builder in Sacramento to do the build. The motor was sent to Doug Clem in Nevada for a complete rebuild. He is one of the most highly regarded flat head builders around. I spoke to him at length before I bought the car and he is amazing. I also spoke to the man that owns the hot rod shop that built the car and they both had the same story on the owner.
He was a spare no expense and cut no corners person with a side of OCD and it shows in this car. Every piece and part on this car is new or rebuilt and it is an incredible build. The total investment into this car including purchase of the car from Volo is $105,831. I hope the pictures will show the amazing quality of this car.
