1937 Ford tanker came from Wichita Kansas. It was parked in 1961 where it sat in a parking garage for 53 years. It was the boss’s truck for R.V. Roeder fuel company, which is why the body is in such great shape. Really unique truck that is in great shape considering these were used as work horses. The plan for the truck was to do complete restoration, but with too many projects going on I’ve decided to sell the tanker. The way the truck sits today the 59ab flathead motor, mechanical brakes, and transmission are working. It is in parking lot running condition. I have all the glass for the cab, all the original front grill stainless trim, head lights, interior guages, V8 “85” badges, and body reflectors. The exterior is in black primer which lets you do any color scheme you desire. Maybe Sinclair green,Mobil red, Gilmore or any custom job. With all the hard work of getting down to bare metal taken care of on such a big vehicle it could be a fairly fast restoration. A VERY SOLID truck that would be a great piece for any collection, parades or museum! Clear title ready for transfer. Upon request, i have a nice video of the truck running.

Work that has been done to the truck include:
Dustless blasted the entire truck inside, outside, and underneath
Primered entire truck
mechanical brakes fully gone through and now working
Installed new mallory distributor, spark plugs, and spark plug wires.
Installed new Stromberg 97 carburetor
Reupholstered original seat with ox blood leather by local guy (cost me $1,400.00)
6 brand new firestone truck tires from coker tire (not installed but come with the truck, cost me $2,000)
transmission gear selector un-seized
fuel tank flushed and repaired
