You are looking at a one -off , super rare Auburn Speedster custom factory built by Speedster motorcars. This particular car was special ordered with a very powerful V8 with SUPERCHARGER and the expensive optional HARD TOP , as well as a custom , more sleek looking canvas soft top. No trouble registering this car in emission states as she’s titled as a 1936. All this AND power windows , power seat , steering and brakes and genuine wirewheels that are extra wide to acomodate the bigger footprint tires. This machine is not ” just ” a cruiser ; she’s crazy fast and will spin the tires even if you’re already at speed. Definately not for the faint of heart. Beautiful and rare black and silver color combo. If you’re looking for a special Auburn , this is it. I would like you to consider the differences. Furthermore , this is not – like most Auburns offered – a car built in the 1970’s or 1980’s and thus NOT a 40 year old car that may look somewhat the same on the outside! All cars factory built by Speedster Motorcars were built in the 2000’s and only around 55 cars were built , with most of them gone overseas.. I have owned over 100 Auburns , believe it or not , and I can prove it ! Only TWO of those had a hardtop and I’ve owned and sold only ONE other one that was truly supercharged , so maybe you can imagine how rare this offering is. Furthermore , the black & silver color combo is also very rare , and if you want a all black car , it will be cheap to paint the silver part only..
Prices of these cars have gone up and rightly so , especially if you see what other collector cars have been sold for at auction lately. I WAS asking a very reasonable $96,500 ( and yes , I will consider a fair trade in of your classic or exotic car. but be realistic ) BUT I JUST REDUCED HER $10,000 because I need to move it to help me buy a piece of real estate , so I’m giving away my profit and leaving YOU that money on the table !
