1937 Buick Special. Not running.
I bought this car on Ebay several years ago. I already had a ’37 Buick that was running, but thought this one was nicer looking, so I bought it. The seller didn’t disclose that it wasn’t running until after the sale. So, I want to state that fact upfront.
It’s a great old car. The wiring under the hood was losing its insulation, so I bought new wiring harnesses. I had the front harness replaced (which goes under the hood in the engine compartment), but then had health problems and the mechanic stopped working on it. When I recovered, I had to pick up the car, since he had other pursuits.
So, it sits un-running and I want to pass it onto someone else mechanically savvy and recover some of my money that I invested.
Also, the carburetor was rebuilt by a retired General Motors mechanic. Actual mileage is unknown. The old ebay listing said 2,083.
I hope someone good gets this old classic.
